For those of who might have missed the post on Facebook. We are expecting our third child. The due date is August 22. Falene is just out of her first trimester so we don't know if its a boy or girl yet. We have been very busy and Falene starts her new job this next week. We have been booked solid with Dr's appointments and classes for the boys. I think Falene will start blogging on here when things settle down a little bit. Just got to get into a routine.

Utah

Well I am sure most of you know that we have moved to Utah now. I love the snow! I still haven't showed Falene how to do this yet, thats why it's been a while since I have posted. Things are going ok. We are still looking for jobs. So thats been a little frustrating. Aidan is getting signed up for a lot of programs that will help him out with his Autism. We were excited last week because he started saying some words. We are going to be starting a different blog under a different name (Falene despises Bob). The address is faleneandchris.blogspot.com

It's been forever since I have posted. My plan is to train Falene how to run this thing and she will take over making it much better than what I do. Quick update of our summer. I got to spend the summer at home with Falene and the boys which was a lot of fun. We went on a epic road trip which lasted pretty much the whole month of July. Good time to get out of Texas if you ask me. We went to La Canada and spent a week with Falene's family, and then we went to Mammoth lakes in the mountains for another week. While there we had a family reunion with Falene's family and went to Yosemite. From there we went up to Utah and spent about a week with my family. We then went back to southern California for a week so Falene could practice for her test at her uncle's office. Then we came back to Texas and now I am back at work. In typical fashion, here are a bunch of pictures. Pictures are in reverse order.

Sleepy Time

I usually have intentions of updating the blog every Sunday, but I usually forget or just don't get around to it. We have been very busy over the last few weeks. Falene took her National Boards a week ago and I have been busy with work. I went to Brownsville yesterday. It was a 17 hour trip which will be nice on the ole paycheck. Brownsville is basically as far south as you can go in Texas. Any further and your in Mexico.

One thing we noticed about Texas this year that we didn't see last year is wild flowers. They are every where. They are yellow, white, pink, red, blue, purple, and everything in between. Since they didn't get rain for the past couple of springs they didn't show up but with all the rain we have been having this year they are every where.

The boys are growing up so fast. Gavin is starting to stand without holding on to anything. He doesn't care for little kid toys, he only wants to play with the cars, balls, and things that Aidan is interested in. Aidan got to go to a birthday party of one of the kids that he is with in day care. They had a moonwalk and apparently had an amazing time. A couple of weeks ago Aidan decided that his crib couldn't hold him anymore. After about 2 hours he finally was tired enough where he didn't climb out. We came up with a new way to keep him in there, we tied a bed sheet over the top of his crib. He accepted this barrier for maybe a week and then on the night when Falene was in San Antonio taking her National Board and I was here alone with the boys, he decided that it was time once again to break free. I was up with him till about 12:15 trying to get him to go to sleep and he only went to sleep out of pure exhaustion. Gavin then woke up at 12:30 and wanted to be fed. So that was an interesting night. And of course they both woke up nice and early after I had finally gotten to sleep at 2:00. Since his crib won't hold him we went and got him a twin bed. We cleared everything out of his room and closed the door on him. After a couple of hours he fell asleep in front of the door were he had been sticking his hand under the door. It was pretty cute. We picked him up and put him in his bead and tucked him in. The next night he fell asleep sideways on his bed, and then the next night he laid the right way on his bed and has ever since. He even kinda tucks himself in. It just amazes me how well he learns.

Aidan is behind on his communication skills so he has been seeing a speech therapist. He just started but we like the things she suggested to us. Also he went and saw an ENT. He is going to have to have tubes put in his ears and goes in next month for it. Since it would be impossible to get him to hold still for the procedure, he will have to be put under. Poor little guy.

Another Beeville Memory

Last Friday I came home to a bunch of cop cars and a large white dog covered in blood in front of our neighbors house. Apparently the dog freaked out when our neighbors sister went to let the dogs out and grabbed one of the other dogs(there are like 4 or 5 dogs total) and basically ripped it apart. That dog didn't make it and they put the large dog down with a pump gun. They were walking around our house with shotguns trying to corner it before they shot it with the dart. Anyway it was just another interesting moment here in Beeville.

Well not a lot has happened. Gavin has progressed from standing to walking along the furniture. We also gave Aidan his 2nd haircut. He looks much better. Got rid of all those little curls. Other than some runny noses, we are all doing well. Falene is excited to be in her last semester here(so am I). We are very excited to be leaving Texas and moving closer to family. Merry Christmas

We are down here in sunny California for the Christmas break. Its been on the chilly side though. Falene had some observations she had to get done for school were she had to go to a bunch of different types of dental offices. The nice thing about Southern California is that there are millions of dentists so she was able to find the ones she needed that were really close to her family. Haven't posted for a while so I'm just going to put up a bunch of pics like usual. It also "snowed" in Texas. It was just flurries, but they started canceling everything anyway. Got some pictures of the frost, not enough snow to show up on the camera. Enjoy in no particular order.

Due to car problems, we didn't get to take the boys trick or treating. We did get them dressed and went to Walmart. We got all kinds of candy there so I still consider it a success. Here are some pictures.

Last night Falene and I were awoken at about 12:30. I had no clue what was going on. Falene said "I think someone is at the door". She had heard what sounded like someone pounding on our door and Bob was going crazy. All of a sudden we see a bunch of lights right outside our window. And someone comes up and starts pounding on our window. So we rush to go see what is going on. Falene opened the door and there was a police officer there. He starts asking if a Victoria something lives here and Falene said "no". Then he started asking who all lives here and looking at her trying to see if she was lying. Finally he says " sorry to disturb you" and turned around and walked away. There were three cop cars and seven cops all around our house. It was crazy. I had a hard time going back to sleep because my adrenaline was pumping. It was crazy that they just came in the middle of the night. We had already been asleep for three hours. That was our excitement for the week.

Well it's been along time since I have posted anything. That is mostly because we have been so busy lately. I only have two nights and Sunday's when I am at home with the fam.

The boys just had doctors appointments on Friday. They both have ear infections though. :( We found out that Gavin weighs about 16 lbs. now. He is getting big! Aidan on the other hand is gargantuan. He weighs 30 lbs. and is 34 inches long. He is off all of the doctors charts. He is also the biggest one at his day care even though a lot of them are the same age as him. It is impossible to keep our house Aidan proof. He will figure away around any barrier we put up in no time. He is definitely a handful. We think our boys are just great though. And in our unbiased opinion, the cutest little boys in the world. He are some pictures of them. I am sure they have changed since the last time I posted. Enjoy.

This has been an interesting week for me. I have started a new job, got a new calling, gave a talk and two lessons, and I got to drive a tractor. In case you didn't here i got the job as a teacher's assistant in charge of the ISS at one of the elementary schools here in Beeville. ISS stands for in school suspension so I will be dealing with the trouble kids. Should be interesting. I am so excited to not have to work for the maintenance department. Working here in the heat has turned me off to all manual labor related jobs. I got released as the first counselor in the Young Mens and got called as the president. Between work, bus trips, and my callings, I will probably be gone from home a lot this semester. I got to drive a tractor at work when I was with maintenance. It was really fun. Falene and I are just gearing up for school. Yay last year. Well here is a bunch of pictures of our adorable boys.

Back from Paradise

Well I guess we have been back for a week now, but I just haven't got around to posting anything. We spent about a week in California. We were down there for Gavin's Blessing. It was very nice, a lot of Falene's family was able to be there and Mom and Dad Hough made it down as well. I am normally not a huge fan of California, but the weather was amazing while we were there. It was probably about 20 degrees cooler than Texas and without the humidity. On our way out we stoped in Casa Grande and stayed with Aunt Jean and Uncle Don. It was very nice to see them as well as Brandon and Carrie Jo. Aidan found Uncle Don's cane and used it like a walking stick the whole night, it was pretty funny. We had a wonderful time. Here are a bunch of photo's from our trip. Mom and Dad Hough came to visit us this week. We had alot of fun even though their car kept breaking down and we didn't get to catch any fish on our deep sea fishing adventure. We are greatful that they could come down and help us out. It's to bad we all forgot to take alot of pictures. So here are some we did take. You may also notice a lack of hair on Aidan. You can blame me. I got a little carried away with the clippers. He kinda looked like a cancer patient for a few days, but it has grown out, and now he looks like he did when he really didn't have hair. So cute. Happy Fathers Day to all you dads!

First experience with Lasagna

Life is good. Falene's mom came and spent some time with us. She was here for a few days before and after Gavin was born. It was great to have her here. We appreciated her watching Aidan while we were in the hospital. Aidan also had a blast so he didn't mind. All of a sudden I find myself with a new job and so that has been keeping busy for the last few days. I'm working with the maitenance depart for the school district here. Baby and mom are doing very well. Thank you all for the support, messages, and gifts. They mean so much to us. we love you.

Welcome Gavin Mitchell Hough!

Gavin came to join our family today. He is a memorial day baby. He weighs 8 lbs. 14 ounces (exactly a pound heavier than Aidan) and is 21 1/2 inches long (exactly 1 inch more than Aidan). He is soo cute. He seems like a really calm baby so far. He just layed there for almost two hours with his eyes open just looking around not making a sound. We brought Aidan in to meet him. Gavin started to cry a little bit which scared Aidan so he started to cry. It was very funny. Falene is doing very well as is Gavin. We went into the hospital at about 8:30 this mourning and he was born around 3:09. We aren't sure what color his hair is. It's light, we think it's probobly the same color as Aidan's. It might have a hint of red, but we aren't sure. We are excited for him to join our family and can't believe how fast we went from just the two of us to being a family of 4 with a minivan. lol. Love you guys.

No, it's not a baby. lol We got a brand new used minivan. Yay. We unfortunatly outgrew our Mazda 3. It was a cool little car and we will miss it. We just got the car yesterday and already our lives are so much easier. Adding the next kid won't even put a dent in the space. The thing also has like 50 cup holders, which is always a plus. I know alot of you are going to, or want to make fun of me for driving a minivan, but next time you are squeezing into your suv or car, remember we are stretched out with tons of room to spair. Love you all.

Deep Sea Adventure

Yesterday I got to do something really cool. I got to go Deep see fishing with the young Men here in the branch. If you didn't know, I am in the Young Men's presidency now. I have to say it was very very fun. We left at about 8:00 in the mourning and went out into the Gulf about 45 minutes. The boat goes pretty quick and the waves were pretty big, so every time we would go over a wave, your stomach would drop. It was like going on a 45 minute long roller coaster. It was awesome. Very hard to walk when the boat was moving because you would take a step and the floor would be like a foot farther down than it was a second ago, and then it would be a foot closer than it was. It was pretty funny watching/trying to get anywhere. They boat had a pretty big cabin you could go into that was air conditioned. They had food and drinks that you could buy to. So after 45 minutes we got to the first spot, which was right behind a huge oil tanker. Apparently they sit in the same spot for 2-3 weeks. They throw all their left over food off the back of the boat which attracts a lot of sea life. We did drift fishing which is were you put your line over the edge of the boat, and they let the boat drift with the wind which drags your bait along behind the boat. The first person to get something on the line was a kid from our group. He caught a Black Tip shark. It wasn't big enough to keep, so they let it go. Among the other things caught their, was a really big puffer fish, a mackerel, an eel, red snapper, atlantic sharpnose shark, remora, and a vermilion snapper. I caught 2 of the sharpnose sharks. They were around 3 feet long. It is a workout pulling them in. We also went next to two oil rigs and did the same kind of fishing. It was a blast. Come on down to Texas and we'll go fishing. I don't have any pictures of the trip to post at this time. Falene thought I might throw our digital camera overboard(like I have ever thrown anything accidently into the water) so I brought along a disposable camera. When I get the pictures developed, I'll post them.

The countdown begins!

Well it started along time ago. Around 8 months. Falene will be done with her first year of Dental Hygiene in 2 1/2 weeks. Yay!! She is very excited. Starting 2 days after her last final, we are in the month time frame when the baby could be born. Dos could be here in just under 3 weeks. That is crazy. We will have gone from the 2 of us, to 4 in a pretty short time. Aidan now pretty much walks every were. He only crawls when he falls down because he can't stand up without something to pull himself up with. He is a solid little boy. He isn't that chunky but he weighs around 26 pounds. All the "big" kids that used to crawl over him when he first started going to day care are now getting it back. If anything is in his way (including Bob), he will just shove it away. He is getting to be quite a handful, but he is soooo cute. He has 2 more teeth which brings the total to 6. He is not afraid to show them off either. Here are a couple of pictures. 4/20 Everybody!

I know this date has alot of different meanings for alot of different people, most of which aren't that good. But to us, we get to celebrate the birth of our adorable little boy. It is wierd. It seems like so long ago and at the same time it seems like no time at all that Aidan was born. Aidan has gotten so big it's crazy. We gave him some cake and at first he just put his hands in the frosting and rubbed them around. I finally put some in his mouth and he loved it. He also loved his presents. His grandparents got him some cute toys. We are grateful for him and love him very much. We are so lucky. He's gonna be a great older brother here in a month and a half.

About 2 weeks ago Aidan took his first step. He did it twice, and then took about 5 steps. Crawling is still a faster way of getting around so he still does that most of the time unless he is along furniture or needs to transfer to a new piece of furniture. The same night he said his first word. He said "Momma, Momma". I think she took his bottle away or something. He also started to do something funny today. When we take a picture with the camera, a orange light comes on first and he has started squinting and moving his head to the side. It is hilarious.

Midnight visitor

Falene and I were awoken last night to what sounded like something in our room scratching at something. Falene hates mice so she is paranoid about mice running across her face, so I turned on the light and started to look around. I decided to open the door and see if whatever it was had run into the hallway. So I opened the door and this is what I saw.

I know scary. Ya aparently the door to Bob's cage fell off some how so he decided to come let us know about the problem. It was pretty funny.

We don't have alot going on other than work and school. Falene only has 2 more months and she is done with her first year. We are excited about that. Found a new cable for the camera at goodwill so we are excited about that. Aidan started projectile vomiting last night, but has been feeling much better this afternoon. Oh ya, we went on a train ride with Tim and Audrey for spring break. It was fun.

Sick Boy

Aidan is sick this weekend. He has a fever, cough, and a stuffy nose. You can tell he is sick because he just lays there. He also allows us to put a wet rag on his head with out taking it off. It's kinda sad. When not sick, Aidan is constantly moving and playing with things. He climbs on everything. Remember the Alamo

For once, Falene and I found ourselves with a day off together and no homework to do (Thank you Martin Luther King). Halfway through the day we decided that we were sick of being stuck in our house all the time so we decided to go visit the Alamo. It was neat to see a place infamous in history first hand. It's the place were Davey Crockett was killed along with 200 other people. We enjoyed brushing up on our history.

Something scary happened today. Actually about 5 minutes ago. Falene was in Aidan's room changing his diaper when she called me to come quickly. I arrived just a second too late because she said I missed it. Then all of a sudden Aidan, who was sitting up in his crib, grabbed the edge and pulled himself up so he was standing. It's only a matter of time now. It's hard enough to contain him while he is crawling all over the place, I can't imagine trying with him walking. Lol. Should be fun, the joys of parenthood I guess.

We had another ultra sound of the baby this week. He seems to be doing really well. They kept telling us how long his legs were. He will probobly be tall. And yes, he is still a boy as the Ultra sound technician repeatedly pointed out to us. lol.

Falene started classes this week. It is kind of a relief that this semester won't be as challening studying wise, but will be more of a time commitment. She is excited for her classes. She says that they should be interesting.

Well just want to say hello to everyone. We hope that everyone had a merry Christmas. We went to California to visit Falene's family. Unfortunately we forgot our camera so we don't have any pictures from that. We will have to ask Falene's family to email us some pictures and then we will put them up here. Here are some pictures of Aidan playing in his new toy that his grandparents got for him. He loves to bounce in it. Pretty funny. On a different topic, Falene went in to have her ultrasound today. We found out a couple of things. The due date is on May 29th, about 2 weeks after Falene is done for the semester. She is 20 weeks along. We also found out that we are having another boy. Yay. So fun times. We love you all.

Just wanted to say hi and Happy Halloween. We all went to the Branch Trunk or Treat. It was Fun. Aidan and Bob were matching pumpkins. Long story short I had to buy black nail polish to blacken part of the license plate light on my truck a while ago so I put it to good use and dressed up like a rockstar. Notice I have contacts to wear.Falene represented by being a Packers fan. She accidently rubbed off the face paint before we could get a picture so we didn't. Also I started substitute teaching this week. Thats been interesting. They make me wear a bright orange name tag. Hope you enjoy. We love all of you.

Hey Everybody. Just wanted to say hello and post some new pictures. I got my CDL on friday and today is my first day of working as a school bus driver. I hope I can start substitute teaching soon as well. We are pretty sure that Aidan has started the teething process. He has been really grumpy lately so thats fun. He has also taken more interest in Bob. He tried to grab him everytime he walks by. The last picture is him watching Finding Nemo. He loves that show. We also gave him some pea baby food the other day and we let him bite on that carrot to help make his gums feel better. Funny reactions.

Hello from Texas

Hey everyone one. Just wanted to say hello. While it's cooling down everywere else, its still pretty warm here. It could be worse. It is not as hot as it was when we moved here. We had an apointment for Aidan the other day. He now weighs 20 1/2 lbs. and is 27 inches long. So in the last 6 months he has grown from just under 8 pounds and 20 1/2 inches long. He is getting so big. We are sad, his bouncer broke yesterday. He really liked that thing so it's to bad. For those of you who don't know, I am going to substitute teach and drive a school bus. I hopefully will do some substituting this week and I am scheduled to take my bus driving test on friday so I can start that next week. Should be interesting. Oh ya, Gas is now $2.32.

Just wanted to let you know that gas here is $3.06. We like it. We are doing good. If you havn't already heard, I quit my job at Target this last week to allow me to find a new Job. I have a couple of things that might work out. Some of these are a School Bus driver and a substitute Teacher. I also have an interview at one of the prisons on wed. for a Clerk job, so we shall see what works out. Also Aidan can rollover now. He has rolled from back to front and front to back already. He likes to do it when I am not watching though. Well I hope everything is going good for all of you.

It seems that most of our Bog is just pictures of Aidan, and this won't be any different. The little guy is so cute. He is getting really big. We have started feeding him rice cereal (which he loves) and he just screams at us because we can't shovel it in his mouth fast enough. He did roll over the other day twice, but hasn't done it since. It seems like he is always smiling and laughing now, unless he is hungry or tired. We just feel really blessed to have him in our lives. Hope you enjoy.

Hurricane Ike

Well the Hurricane is over, well actually it never started here. We were waiting for something to happen, but nothing ever did. The only thing that happened to us was that the storm mysteriously knocked out our internet a day before it actually hit land. Don't ask me how that happened. We went down to Corpus Christi on friday afternoon and went to the beach to watch all the big waves come in. It was pretty cool. There was a Coast Guard helicopter flying along the beach to make sure no one was going out in the water. I learned yesterday that a surfer got caught in a riptide and drowned. The sunset was really cool on the way home so I took some pictures. Hope you enjoy Ike in all of it's furry.

Hurricane

Wow 2 posts in one day. What a treat for all of you. lol. We found out today that a Hurricane is heading our way. Falene's classes have been canceled for the rest of the week. They are making all the students who live in the dorms evacuate and recommending that everyone else does as well. As far as I can tell, I am still working which should be fun because the storm is expected to hit while I am down in Corpus Christi early in the morning. So we shall see. I guess FEMA is already set up. There are actually at the airport here in Beeville. They are using Beeville as their "command center". So I will update this if I take any pictures or have any new information. At this point in time we are not planning on evacuating, we will have to c.

Well we are just about all settled in now. Falene is going to her classes and I am working. Aidan is as happy as ever. He has discovered his toes and is playing with them constantly. He also figured out how to screech and does that randomly. We are enjoying being in Texas. It is on the hot side though. Here are a few pictures of our place and Aidan.

Well yesterday we found Dermit a new home with a young couple from Moline. He should be happy there. They apparently have a huge yard for him to romp in. The guys mom has a couple of pugs that weigh around 30 pounds. They are huge. They are probobly twice as heavy as Dermit. We will miss the little guy. I think Bob is probobly happy he is gone. Well I got back from Utah on Saturday morning just after midnight after driving straight through. I was very happy to be home and sleep on my bed. No new pictures because Falene has the camera in california were she will be till Friday. I'll be spending this week working and getting rid of stuff in preparation of moving. Well for the last week or so my internet has been very selective about were it will let me go. This site has been one of the ones that I couldn't go to. So sorry I havn't been able to update. Aidan is doing great. He growing so fast. We are doing good. We are looking forward to seeing everyone in Utah and California here in a few weeks. Here are a couple of pictures. For those of you who don't know. Falene got accepted into the Dental Hygiene program in Beeville Texas this spring. So that means that we will be once again moving. We are both excited for this opportunity and look forward to a new adventure. We are also excited that we have new niece. Eve was born this last week about 2 months after Aidan. We are excited to have a cousin for Aidan born so close. Aidan is growing up so fast. He is smiling at us all the time. He is so cute. I tried to measure him and it said he was around 25 inches long. Almost 4 inches in 2 months, not bad. Here are some pictures of our cute little baby.

Promotion

I was informed today that I got a promotion at work. I will now be a team leader in the backroom were I have been working. I'm now the same level as Falene, just in a different area. So that is exciting. Aidan us doing very well. He is now 10 pounds 15 ounces and is 23 inches long. So he is up a little more than 3 pounds and has gained an inch and a half in length. So he is growing really fast and is doing very well.

Well Aidan is now 4 weeks old today. It seems crazy that he has been with us for that long already. With Family gone, we are just working on getting in a schedule before Falene has to go back to work in a couple of weeks. Aidan has now gained 2 pounds over his birth weight and an inch and a half in length. He is getting so big so fast. Here are some more pictures taken this week.

Well I had another post written but I accidently erased it so sorry. Basically said that everything is great. Aidan is 2 weeks old now and had his doctors apointment. We just layed there wide awake for the whole visit, didn't make a noise. He is doing very good and has gained over a pound over his birth weight and a 1/2 inch in length.

He likes to sleep by the way. You can't tell, but he is wearing Lakers PJ's given to him from his Grandpa in California. Maybe thats why the Jazz lost.

He likes Dad cause I am awesome.!

I couldn't think of a name for this entry mostly becuase it doesn't have a specific thought or anything like that. We were so excited, because Mom and Dad Hough were able to come vist us from last wendsday till yesterday. It was great to get to see them and spend time with them. We have missed them because I think we got used to seeing them more often. Dad said that most babies look kinda funny but Aidan was actually cute. :) I don't think he is biased though ;). We are excited to be able to see everyone in August for the wedding and the baby blessing. we are also very excited because Falene's mom will be visiting us this wednsday and will get to stay for a little over a week. We are really excited to be able to share this experience with her mom. Well we have a few things going on. I am putting in for a promotion at Target, and hopefully that will work out well and soon. Also we are looking into moving to Texas and doing dental hygeine school for both of us. It was really something that I had been open to in the past but with all the changes that have happened pretty much since we have moved to Iowa it is something that I think I would really enjoy as well as Falene. Other than Aidan and my parents coming to vist, there hasn't been much else new. Bob and Dermit are as annoying as ever, but they are good. Thank you are for your love and support. We appreciate all of you. Keep checking back here, I have made a resolve to take more pictures and so should be posting more pictures (mostly of Aidan of course) in the future. Also included is the dogs with the baby at about as close as we let them get :)

It's a Boy!

Well this morning at 9:45 Falene gave birth to our little boy. We havn't figured out what to name him yet so hopefully that will come soon. Sorry to those I promised pictures. I forgot the camera at the hospital so I will add some picture tomarrow when I have a chance to come back. The baby is 20 1/2 inches and weighs 7 pounds 14 ounces. So we are excited. Him and Falene are doing very well. We figured out his name. It is Aidan Christopher Hough

We came across a website that allows us to put in some baby names and lets you vote on them. These are names that we have just thrown out there. We aren't sure if we are really behind any of them, but we would appreciate your inpute. Go to this site. http://www.babynames.com/namelist/9595239. We are doing good. It sounds like the Target here is doing some shifting around of leadership so we are not yet sure were that will leave Falene. Her job isn't at risk, she just might have to move to another department. I also just finished my last session of doing practice interviews and hopefully should be doing the real thing next week. We shall see. Falene is doing good. Tired as always though. Bob and Dermit are doing really good to. Bob will turn 3 at the end of this month on Adams birthday and dermit will turn 1at the end of the month as well. He is close enough so we say he has the same birthday as Adam and Bob. We hope all of you are doing well. We love and miss you. We are excited about the prospect of seeing you all in a couple of months.

It's a boy?

Well we found out last week that we are probobly going to have a boy. The nurse got a quck shot so she wasn't 100% but she was pretty sure. Falene and I went up to Milwaukee on saturday. We had a great time. We got to hang out with Mike Skrivseth and Jared McDowell as well as visit with the Semrads and Palicks. The only pictures we ended up taking were of the house. They cut down the big trees in the front and added some landscaping to both the front and the back. Falene thought it was really pretty there and wouldn't mind if we live there. We shall see. I have been having pain were my heel and arch meet on my left foot over the last few months. I've been able to bear with it up till this point. I played basketball last night and after a few minutes it just started to hurt really bad. I'm kind of having some trouble walking today. Luckily I have a 3 day weekend so I am going to get some rest and put it on ice so hopefully it will loosen up for me. If I had tyo guess I would guess it is Plantar fasciitis. Falene is doing good. She is tired as always. The baby is constantly kicking her. It was exciting, I got to actually feel the baby kick for the first time a couple of weeks ago. Sorry we havn't posted anything in a while, nothing new has really been happening. We hope everything is going good for all of you. We miss you. Hopefully we can have something else to write about in the future.

School started this week. I went to my first class and realized right then that I can't do school and work at the same time. Since I have to work, I will be delaying my school until after the baby is born (only 6 months). Don't worry that I won't finish school, I'm still accepted to Palmer just pushed my date back. This will actually work out better for us in the long run though for a few reasons. This wasn't expected but neither was becoming pregnant after we had been trying for 4 years. We both feel good about this and feel that it is what is best for our family. It also allows us to get excited about being pregnant instead of it being another stresser. Were are doing good. Nothing has changed but school. I already feel a lot less stressed. Falene is still doing pretty good. Hasn't been sick really at all. She just gets really tired and needs to rest after coming home from work and being on her feet all day. Hope everything is going well for everybody. Glad to see that mom had a great time on her cruise.

For those of you who don't know yet, Falene is pregnant. She is now a little over 3 months along. It was a little bit of a surprise after we moved here to Iowa. The baby is due April 27Th. Falene is doing very well. She hasn't been sick at all. She does notice that she gets tired easier, and likes getting extra sleep. She had a doctors appointment today and she got to hear the heart beat. Everything is looking good. We are excited but it hasn't sunken in yet. Other than that nothing is new. Same ole boring stuff. Work is keeping us busy. I start school on the 30Th. I will miss my vacation from school. Hope everything is going great with all of you. Here are some ultrasounds when Falene was 9 weeks along.

Sorry it has been so long. Life has been crazy starting work. For those who don't know Falene also got a job at Target as a Team Lead. She makes $4.5 more than me an hour so that is nice. Other than that nothing is new. More news and pictures coming soon.

Well today is my first day of work. I am going to be working at Target just like everyone else has at some point. Things are going good. Falene has a job interview tomarrow also for target as a team lead. So hopefully she will get that. They pay better here than they did in Idaho so that is good. I am taking a pay cut but Falene would be taking a pay raise. So thats about all that is going on. Absolutely nothing new has happened lol.

Well, we made it. Didn't seem like it at times but we finally left Rexburg. Despite all the problems we made it safetly and are settling into our new place. We got here about 11:30 on friday night after turning down a dead end street and almost getting the moving van stuck. We had plans of unpacking are bed so we could go to sleep but first we had to unload the pickup truck off of the car dolly because it was blocking the whole street so after struggling with that for a while in the darkness, we got it off and out of the way. While we were unloading the truck it started to rain really hard so we were out getting the truck set up and everything in the pouring rain. We decided that since our bed was behind a layer of boxes that it would have to wait till it wasn't raining. So at about 1:00 in the mourning we decided to go explore Davenport in search of a 24 hour Walmart. we drove the wrong way until we found a gas station that was open. The lady there was able to point us in the right direction and we found it. we got ourselves an air matress and came home. It was 2:00 now and we were exhausted so we set up the bed and tried to go to sleep but the dogs were wide awake. Being new upstairs neighbors we didn't want our first night to be a bad one for the person below, we had to have the dogs be quiet. We found that Dermit would be ok in his cage if he was in our room and had something to chew on and Bob just wanted to wandering around our room. In the mourning he had found a nice spot on the air matress by Falene's legs. So we have been unpacking and getting settled in. Falene is at a Job placement company right now getting set up with them and has also found a few jobs at the hospitals around here that she would like to apply for. We just got the internet about an hour ago so that will make our job hunting much easier. Maybe on the next post i'll get some pictures from outside. The pictures are of the stairway we come up to get to our place, our kitchen, living room, second bedroom (Den), bathrom, and our bedroom. I think its kind of hard to tell the size of this place from the pictures, but it is actually pretty big. Big except the bathroom. The picture with me in it is me standing in the gap we have to squeeze through to use the toilet and sink. I hope everything is going great for you guys and we look forward to talking to you soon. p.s. Pardon the mess.

Well we got home from our trip from California today about 12:30. Just in time to have the couple of people who actually showed up to help us move all the big stuff. Now all we have left is the little annoying stuff that takes forever. The dogs freaked out when we got home cause I guess they missed us. Due to the lack of help we were anticipating, we have decided to not leave till Thursday mourning. We are looking forward to this new adventure, and should be fun being somewhere different. I also really wish I hdan't packed my guitar yet. :(

Well we are having fun in California. We went to the beach the other day had alot of fun there. The best thing about that is that we didn't get sunburnt. :) There were some cool Leapard and sand sharks just barely in the water. It was really fun. Today we went to downtown L.A. and got to go by Little Tokyo as well as the fashion district. It was kinda cool. Picked up some Packers hats as Falene got some Fake designer sunglasses. Having all kinds of fun here.

Packing is fun. We have boxes all over the place. Trying to get all the last details fixed like painting and changing out electrical outlets. Good times. Got to have everything done this weekend so we can go to California. Only a few more dayls left at Pepsi. Falene is excited to be done with her job, but isn't enjoying the packing. Life's pretty much the same. It was great hanging out with the family and see everybody before we go out of town. We'll let you know how things are going when we get back from California.

Getting ready to move

We are getting ready to move. It's coming up pretty quick. We are excited for the new experience and to be somewere other than Rexburg. Also looking forward to hanging out with the fam this weekend. Last time for a while we will see some of them for a while. The dogs are doing well. Dermit is growing up size wise. Also had to have a root canal. That was fun. I hate teeth problems.

Chiropractic school

Just found out that I got into Palmer college of Chiropractic. Horray. We will be moving to Davenport Iowa this dall probobly end of september early October. we are very excited for the change and to get out of rexburg.
