Just wanted to say hi. We are doing good down here in Texas. The weather is Beautiful in the 70's. Here are some more pictures of the boy.

Happy Halloween!

Just wanted to say hi and Happy Halloween. We all went to the Branch Trunk or Treat. It was Fun. Aidan and Bob were matching pumpkins. Long story short I had to buy black nail polish to blacken part of the license plate light on my truck a while ago so I put it to good use and dressed up like a rockstar. Notice I have contacts to wear.Falene represented by being a Packers fan. She accidently rubbed off the face paint before we could get a picture so we didn't. Also I started substitute teaching this week. Thats been interesting. They make me wear a bright orange name tag. Hope you enjoy. We love all of you.

Hey

Hey Everybody. Just wanted to say hello and post some new pictures. I got my CDL on friday and today is my first day of working as a school bus driver. I hope I can start substitute teaching soon as well. We are pretty sure that Aidan has started the teething process. He has been really grumpy lately so thats fun. He has also taken more interest in Bob. He tried to grab him everytime he walks by. The last picture is him watching Finding Nemo. He loves that show. We also gave him some pea baby food the other day and we let him bite on that carrot to help make his gums feel better. Funny reactions.

Hello from Texas

Hey everyone one. Just wanted to say hello. While it's cooling down everywere else, its still pretty warm here. It could be worse. It is not as hot as it was when we moved here. We had an apointment for Aidan the other day. He now weighs 20 1/2 lbs. and is 27 inches long. So in the last 6 months he has grown from just under 8 pounds and 20 1/2 inches long. He is getting so big. We are sad, his bouncer broke yesterday. He really liked that thing so it's to bad. For those of you who don't know, I am going to substitute teach and drive a school bus. I hopefully will do some substituting this week and I am scheduled to take my bus driving test on friday so I can start that next week. Should be interesting. Oh ya, Gas is now $2.32.

Just wanted to let you know that gas here is $3.06. We like it. We are doing good. If you havn't already heard, I quit my job at Target this last week to allow me to find a new Job. I have a couple of things that might work out. Some of these are a School Bus driver and a substitute Teacher. I also have an interview at one of the prisons on wed. for a Clerk job, so we shall see what works out. Also Aidan can rollover now. He has rolled from back to front and front to back already. He likes to do it when I am not watching though. Well I hope everything is going good for all of you.

Same ole stuff

It seems that most of our Bog is just pictures of Aidan, and this won't be any different. The little guy is so cute. He is getting really big. We have started feeding him rice cereal (which he loves) and he just screams at us because we can't shovel it in his mouth fast enough. He did roll over the other day twice, but hasn't done it since. It seems like he is always smiling and laughing now, unless he is hungry or tired. We just feel really blessed to have him in our lives. Hope you enjoy.

Hurricane Ike

Well the Hurricane is over, well actually it never started here. We were waiting for something to happen, but nothing ever did. The only thing that happened to us was that the storm mysteriously knocked out our internet a day before it actually hit land. Don't ask me how that happened. We went down to Corpus Christi on friday afternoon and went to the beach to watch all the big waves come in. It was pretty cool. There was a Coast Guard helicopter flying along the beach to make sure no one was going out in the water. I learned yesterday that a surfer got caught in a riptide and drowned. The sunset was really cool on the way home so I took some pictures. Hope you enjoy Ike in all of it's furry.

Hurricane

Wow 2 posts in one day. What a treat for all of you. lol. We found out today that a Hurricane is heading our way. Falene's classes have been canceled for the rest of the week. They are making all the students who live in the dorms evacuate and recommending that everyone else does as well. As far as I can tell, I am still working which should be fun because the storm is expected to hit while I am down in Corpus Christi early in the morning. So we shall see. I guess FEMA is already set up. There are actually at the airport here in Beeville. They are using Beeville as their "command center". So I will update this if I take any pictures or have any new information. At this point in time we are not planning on evacuating, we will have to c.

Getting Settled

Well we are just about all settled in now. Falene is going to her classes and I am working. Aidan is as happy as ever. He has discovered his toes and is playing with them constantly. He also figured out how to screech and does that randomly. We are enjoying being in Texas. It is on the hot side though. Here are a few pictures of our place and Aidan.
